Vereda is a research laboratory set up in 2025 at the School of Architecture and Urbanism in the University of Brasilia.

Mission
The laboratory aims to promote the creation, documentation, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge about the built heritage and the disciplinary field of Architecture and Urbanism, considering its theory, history, criticism, and practice.
Joint Laboratory 🇨🇳🇧🇷
Vereda is part of the China–Brazil Joint Laboratory for the Digital Preservation of Cultural Heritage, headed by Tongji University (Shanghai) and including the University of São Paulo and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Research Groups
Projetos de pesquisa nessa abordagem vêm sendo desenvolvidos pelos integrantes fundadores deste Grupo de Pesquisa, tanto no âmbito estritamente acadêmico quanto em cooperação com instituições externas. Destacam-se a elaboração de inventários de bens culturais junto ao Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (IPHAN), pesquisas em durabilidade do concreto e em deterioração eletroquímica de metais na Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo, e o projeto de Documentação da arquitetura tradicional em parceria com a Universidade Federal de Uberlândia e a Universidade Regional do Cariri.
